Aura

After a long workday, a young woman feels a migraine attack coming on. She refuses to cancel her workout, hoping to push through the pain, but her condition rapidly worsens. Trying to escape, she goes down to the parking garage, where space stops obeying logic and only the pain remains.

An experimental film exploring the loss of control when pain disrupts our sense of stability. Migraine alters the perception of space, exposing the body’s vulnerability. Through light, sound and movement, we sought to convey the experience of inner disorientation and losing one’s bearings.
